Ju-Bell-ation

Whatever you do, do your work heartily, for the Lord rather than for men.
Colossians 3:23

Each ringer in the St. Paul's United Methodist Church Ju-Bell-ation Handbell Choir has his/her own set of musical notes to ring. On its own, a bell or note has its own character, providing a unique sound within the musical spectrum. These characteristics range from the low bass notes giving foundation and sustenance to the higher soprano notes giving clarity and brightness. No one bell is any more important than the other, but fits in with the others to produce glorious music.

This same analogy applies to us as individual ringers as well. We all come from different backgrounds, life experiences, and are at different points in our spiritual journeys. Yet as members of the body of Christ we all have our own gifts and ministries to share. We are privileged to serve in a congregation where all people are welcomed and encouraged to fully participate in ministry and leadership. And we are dedicated to spreading this message of full inclusion and participation of all people throughout Christ's church. It is in this spirit we raise our bells!

Ju-Bell-ation is an adult handbell choir that plays in church regularly and out at special events in the community. All skill levels are welcome to join!

Practices: Tuesday evenings, 6:30 - 7:45 p.m. in the Music Room.
